10 July 2023 marked 50 years of independence for The Bahamas. As we celebrated this golden anniversary, we reflected on and recognised the importance of the ocean to this historic moment. From our pristine beaches that are renowned globally, to our thriving maritime sector, we at The BMA are privileged to have played our part in, and contributed to, the development of our nation.
