The BMA is proud to announce that its Regional Director, Dimitri Tsiftsis, has been honoured with an award from Maritime Economies Magazine at its ‘Personalities of Greek Shipping 2023’ ceremony which was held recently in Athens. He is one of a number of key Greek personalities to appear in the Maritime Economies’ Collector’s Album.
150 guests from throughout the Greek maritime community came together to celebrate their industry. Receiving special awards were Sofia Kounenaki-Efraimoglou and Vasilis Demetriades, Cyprus’ former Deputy Minister of Shipping, while Kliaris Theodoros, Caretaker Minister of Shipping, and Patoulis Georgios, Regional Governor of Attica, were awarded honorary plaques. Among the guests were shipowners, leaders of flag registries, leaders of class societies, brokers, industry leaders and other shipping stakeholders.
